Clinical Biography
Elizabeth Freeman is a licensed registered nurse who cares for patients in UT Health Austin’s Ambulatory Surgery Center. She works within the Anesthesia Care Unit as well as coordinates preadmission testing. With nearly 30 years of experience in nursing, Elizabeth believes in respecting patients’ rights to bodily autonomy. She specializes in perioperative nursing and her interests include direct patient care, attempting to make a patient’s (and their significant other/s) surgical or procedural experience the best possible.
Elizabeth earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas. Prior to becoming a nurse, she earned an associate of applied science degree in health information from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado.
