About This Center
The Amplify Center is a clinical partnership between Austin Community College (ACC) and UT Health Austin that offers young adult-specific mental health services focused on improving overall psychological well-being.
Currently, the Amplify Center is in its pilot stage and services are only available to students ages 18-29 who are currently enrolled at Austin Community College (ACC).
The Amplify Center provides services to young adult ACC students seeking support for their mental health. This program is for young adults with mild to moderate mental health needs. If individuals are determined to have more severe or acute conditions, the Amplify Center care team will connect them with the most appropriate care within the community.
The Amplify Center seeks to redesign mental health services to make them more accessible, engaging, and relevant to young adults.
Treatment Approach
The Amplify Center takes a multidisciplinary approach to address barriers young adults often face when accessing mental health care. This means we provide various services in one place to avoid having to schedule multiple appointments with providers all over the city. We focus on life goals that matter to young adults. Our services include therapy, employment and education support, connection to community resources, care navigation, and psychiatric consultation. Services are available in person, over the phone, and virtually.
We collaborate with our colleagues at the Dell Medical School and The University of Texas at Austin to utilize the latest research, diagnostic, and treatment techniques, allowing us to provide the most effective and appropriate care.

Research and Evaluation
The Amplify Center is a program of Dell Medical School's Center of Youth Mental Health. The Center of Youth Mental Health staff will be evaluating the impact of the pilot project and hope to expand it to the larger Austin community.
