Cynthia Corral, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and the Clinical Manager of UT Health Austin’s Integrated Behavioral Health Clinic. In her role, she supports UT Health Austin social workers, dietitians, and pharmacists. She specializes in providing care management and psychotherapy services to address patients’ psychosocial needs and help them achieve their desired goals and outcomes. Additionally, Cynthia Corral is as an assistant professor of practice in The University of Texas at Austin Steve Hicks School of Social Work.
Cynthia Corral earned both her master’s in social work and her bachelor’s in psychology and sociology from The University of Texas at Austin. She has additional training in applying cognitive behavioral therapy to patients with chronic pain and cognitive processing therapy to patients with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Cynthia Corral has been recognized as a Trailblazer by the El Paso in Austin Network Adelante Scholarship Circle for exemplifying leadership, creativity, and passion for her work and her community. She volunteers with the Cine Las Americas film festival as she believes in the importance of cultural connection, education, and storytelling through the arts. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
