Benjamin Ehrenfeld received his Master of Social Work from the Salem State University School of Social Work in Salem, MA. Benjamin received a Bachelor Degree in Music Therapy from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
Benjamin’s experience in helping professions covers a wide range of populations and practices to support those people with whom he has had a privilege to work. Whether it is with adults with psychiatric illnesses, survivors of trauma, individuals diagnosed with neurological disorders, or many others his professional interests and corresponding experience include a passion for supporting individuals in navigating healthcare systems, with a lens specifically informed by a principle of the infinite dignity of every human being. Benjamin prefers to draw from a variety of perspectives about how to best support people, and is most often drawn to Narrative Therapy practices in the efforts to help individuals in the relationships they have with the problems they experience.
In his work with the MS and Neuroimmunology Center, in the Mulva Clinic for the Neurosciences at UT Health Austin, Benjamin hopes to be of support to the patients and members of the care team in maximizing the potential for each and all to reach their goals for health and well being, whether through his clinical social work or case management interventions. Benjamin is excited to discover new possibilities of providing excellent care in partnership with his fellow team members and the people who come to them all for support.
