Clinical Biography
Stephanie Doggett, PA-C, is a licensed physician assistant in the Texas Center for Esophageal and Foregut Surgery within UT Health Austin’s General and Gastrointestinal Surgery Clinic. She specializes in foregut, anti-reflux, and minimally invasive general surgery, and her role spans pre- and post-operative evaluation and treatment, first-assist in the operating room, and perioperative care in the hospital.
Stephanie Doggett earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of Texas at Austin and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Baylor College of Medicine, where she graduated with high honors. She is also clinically trained on interpreting high-resolution manometry and ambulatory pH testing.
Stephanie Doggett is nationally recognized for foregut expertise and patient care related to foregut surgery. She hosts advanced preceptorship programs on foregut surgery best practices and the concept of Reflux Centers of Excellence. She is actively involved in clinical research and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
