Clinical Biography
Meghan Purdy, FNP-C is a nurse practitioner in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. Her past experience includes caring for patients in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU, Adult Surgical ICU, NICU, and Nuclear Cardiology. Meghan has a specialty focus on congenital heart disease, helping pediatric patients transition into adulthood, and taking accountability for their disease process. Additionally, Meghan Purdy serves as the Advanced Practice Provider for the Dell Medical School Department of Pediatrics at The University of Texas at Austin.
Meghan Purdy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from West Virginia University, graduating magna cum laude. She completed her master’s degree in nursing with a focus on family medicine at Boston College.
