Biography and Education
Clinical Biography
Lauren Dreyer, LCSW-S is a licensed clinical social worker with the Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Center with UT Health Austin. She is also a part of the UT Health Austin’s Health Social Work care team. She specializes in providing culturally responsive, person-centered care management and psychotherapy services to adults.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of North Texas and her Master of Science in Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007 where she was a scholar of the Hartford Partnership Program for Aging Education, an initiative of the John A. Hartford Foundation and the Social Work Leadership Institute. Additionally, Lauren is a board-approved supervisor for Licensed Master Social Workers working toward advanced licensure.
Lauren has extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient integrated behavioral health care settings addressing the needs of individuals, groups, and communities across life stages. She utilizes a collaborative, trauma-informed approach to empower people to achieve meaningful change.
