Clinical Biography

Kristin Vinueza is a nurse practitioner with the Primary Care Clinic at UT Health Austin. She completed both her Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in nursing at the University of Texas at Austin. Kristin has eighteen years of experience in nursing, including four years as a family nurse practitioner and fourteen years as a labor and delivery nurse. She joins UTHA from a walk-in practice setting providing wellness services and caring for patients with acute illness. Kristin is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is an active member of Texas Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Kristin grew up in Austin and really enjoys all the amazing activities that the city has to offer, including Longhorn football games, half marathons, and breakfast tacos.

Kristin has a passion for preventative health, continuity of care, and providing patient education. She also enjoys acting as a preceptor to student nurse practitioners. She is excited to be part of a team that offers primary care services to the University of Texas and Austin communities.
