Jennifer Lehmberg, MD

Clinical Biography

Jennifer Lehmberg, MD, is a board certified pediatric cardiologist with the Texas Center of Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. As a pediatric intensivist, she cares for children in pediatric cardiac intensive care in Dell Children’s Cardiac Care Unit. Dr. Lehmberg has a vested interest in medical education, quality improvement, and integration of wrap around care of cardiac patients and their families via partnerships with Palliative Care Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Lehmberg is an assistant professor for the Dell Medical School Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at The University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Lehmberg graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree Bachelor of Arts degree in Plan II Honors, then obtained her medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UT Health Houston. Her postgraduate medical training took around around the country, including her General Pediatrics Residency at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, her Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, and her Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Dr. Lehmberg is a pediatric intensivist with UT Health Austin.
