Geoffrey Vasile, LMSW

Clinical Biography

Geoffrey Vasile, LMSW, is a licensed master social worker and the Care Coordinator for UT Health Austin’s Amplify Center. He specializes in compassionate cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and developing culturally relevant, pragmatic, and applicable mental health and substance use recovery strategies.

Geoffrey Vasile earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from The University of Texas at Austin. He has completed additional training in recovery peer support and is a Recovery Peer Support Specialist credentialed through the National Peer Support Certification.

Geoffrey Vasile decided to pursue a career in social work after recognizing the transformative power of evidence-based therapies when communicated through a collaborative and culturally relevant lens. His clinical interests include culturally relevant cognitive behavioral therapy interventions that are collaborative and power-sharing, with a strong focus on empowering individuals to take control of their mental health treatment.
