Amanda White, MD, treats uncontrolled urination, accidental bowel leakage (incontinence); weakening of muscles and tissue in the pelvis and vaginal bulging (pelvic organ prolapse). As a physician at the Women’s Health Institute at UT Health Austin, Dr. White works to find treatment solutions that fit a woman’s individual lifestyle and goals, including surgical options.
As a young doctor, Dr. White realized the impact prolapse and incontinence can have on a woman’s life. Since then, she has dedicated her work to giving self-confidence back to women suffering from these diseases.
Dr. White is an Assistant Professor at the Dell Medical School where she specializes in Urogynecology/Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
