Symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis

While the cause of MS is unknown, the symptoms can look very different in each patient.

Symptoms of MS may include:

  • Difficulties with muscle strength and control
  • Numbness or weakness of limbs
  • Fatigue
  • Tremors
  • Impaired vision
  • Impaired balance
  • Impaired cognition
  • Slurred speech
  • Difficulties with bowel and bladder control

The Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Center care team includes neurologists, advanced practice providers, social workers, registered dietitians, nurses, and more who work together to help you get back to the things in your life that matter most to you.

We collaborate with our colleagues at the Dell Medical School and The University of Texas at Austin to utilize the latest research, diagnostic, and treatment techniques, allowing us to focus our approach on preventive methods that promote overall health and wellness. Advanced imaging and lab testing are also available on-site if needed.
