Clinical Biography
Thomas Ratana, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist in the UT Health Austin Musculoskeletal Institute. He specializes in orthopedics, sports medicine, and chronic pain within the Musculoskeletal Institute multidisciplinary model of care. His clinical interests include evidence-based practice and exercise strategies aimed at empowering patients and facilitating their autonomy for long-term recovery. Thomas focuses on designing individualized exercise programs and employing research-backed interventions to enhance a patient’s sense of autonomy over their body.
Thomas earned a bachelor of science in exercise physiology from California State University, Chico, CA and a doctorate of physical therapy from George Fox University in Newberg, Or.
Thomas will begin practice in clinic in October 2024.
