Clinical Biography

Sherry Bristow-Cruz, MSN, RN, CNOR, a certified perioperative nurse and the Nurse Manager for UT Health Austin’s Ambulatory Surgery Center. With more than 28 years of experience, she specializes in assisting surgeons and surgical teams.

Sherry Bristow-Cruz earned her master’s in nursing from Galen College of Nursing and her bachelor’s in nursing from Midwestern State University.

Sherry Bristow-Cruz formerly served in the role of a charge nurse and robotics team coordinator. She has carried out a variety of roles, including scheduling surgeries and managing an operating room. She is also a member of the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses.
