Clinical Biography
Sarah Vega, RN, is a licensed registered nurse in UT Health Austin’s Ambulatory Surgery Center. With more than 10 years of nursing experience, she specializes in critical care, patient safety, monitoring, and post-operative recovery.
Sarah Vega earned her associate’s degree in nursing from St. Vincent’s College. She is also certified by the American Heart Association as an instructor in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Sarah Vega has extensive experience in cardiology and intensive care. Her clinical interests include cardiac health, perioperative nursing, and trauma response. She is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care and is passionate about mentoring and supporting the next generation of nurses.
