Clinical Biography

Meredith Brinster, PhD is a licensed psychologist at UT Health Austin Pediatric Psychiatry at Dell Children’s who earned her doctoral degree from The University of Texas at Austin and completed her internship in clinical psychology at The University of Miami. She has specialized training in the assessment of children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of developmental, behavioral, emotional, and academic concerns (e.g., autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, and mood disorders). Dr. Brinster also specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), working with individuals with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and other anxiety disorders (e.g., OCD). She is trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) techniques. Additionally, she serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Dell Medical School and is an active member of the American Psychological Association and Society for Research in Child Development.
