Clinical Biography

Lisa Hadorn is a registered nurse at UT Health Austin’s Heartburn and Esophageal Disorders Center. Lisa serves as the center’s nurse coordinator as the single point of contact for patients and caregivers. She provides resources, assistance and helps patients with outreach for clinical and supportive care services. She also works to coordinate referrals with physicians in the community.

Lisa received her Bachelor in Nursing from Angelo State University and her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington where she graduated Summa cum Laude and as part of the Nursing Honor Society. In 2013, Ms. Hadorn was recognized by her patients with the Patient Choice Nurse of the Year Award.

Throughout her career, Lisa has managed patients with heartburn, acid reflux, provided pre and post operative advice, post-operative wound care, and conducted diagnostic studies including high resolution esophageal manometry, catheter/capsule based pH testing.
