Clinical Biography
Kristina Tzartzeva, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist in UT Health Austin’s Gastroenterology Clinic. She specializes in digestive and liver diseases. Additionally, Dr. Tzartzeva is an assistant professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Internal Medicine at The University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Tzartzeva earned her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering with high honors and a minor in Spanish from The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She completed both a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in digestive and liver diseases at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Tzartzeva’s clinical interests include gastroenterology and medical education.
