Clinical Biography
Jess Goldstein-Kral, PhD (they/he), is the Employment and Education Coach for UT Health Austin’s Amplify Center. They specialize in using a sociological approach that considers both the social institutions and systems of inequality shaping people’s lived experiences, as well as each person’s unique strengths and resiliencies, to provide culturally competent and affirming care.
Dr. Goldstein-Kral earned their bachelor’s degree in sociology from The Ohio State University and their doctorate in sociology from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied social inequality, health, and relationships and previously supported students as a teaching assistant, instructor, and mentor.
