Clinical Biography
Hannah Powers, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and intake/outreach therapist in UT Health Austin’s Amplify Center. She specializes in providing clinical assessment and therapy to young adults seeking mental health care and other services.
Hannah Powers earned both her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in social work from The University of Texas at Austin Steve Hicks School of Social Work. Throughout her education, she specialized in medical social work and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
Hannah Powers has experience in higher education, inpatient mental health, hospitals, medical settings, and private practice. She takes a strengths-based approach that considers both a person’s unique lived experiences and the systemic factors affecting their well-being. Her clinical interests include helping multicultural individuals find belonging and connection, as well as supporting the neurodivergent community in navigating challenging environments. She has also presented at local organizations and national conferences to promote neurodivergent-affirming care.
