Eileen Stewart, MD

Clinical Biography

Eileen Stewart, MD is a board certified pediatric cardiologist with the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She is the medical director of the IMPACT program, which provides care for high-complexity cardiac infants, the cardiac feeding program, and is co-director of the Central Texas Fetal Heart Center. She is an associate professor in The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School Department of Pediatrics.

She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, completed her pediatric residency at the University of New Mexico Children’s Hospital, and then completed a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Her research interests include improving outcomes for single ventricle patients and feeding/nutrition of cardiac infants
