Clinical Biography

Devin Williams, DC, NP-C is an orthopaedic associate provider for the Musculoskeletal Institute at UT Health Austin. As a Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Chiropractic, Devin has a varied and in-depth understanding of musculoskeletal care. Before joining the Dell Medical School staff, Devin was an attending physician at an outpatient clinic at the University of Western States.

Devin’s passion for care began in high school where he ran track and participated in a program for student athletic trainers. Inspired by his experience, he decided post-graduation to pursue degrees in both chiropractic medicine and nursing. “I always knew I wanted to get into health care, but I wanted to go a less traditional path,” says Devin. His less traditional path has led him ringside where he provided care to MMA fighters as a Ring Doctor, to the Philippines where he provided medical services to victims of Hurricane Yolanda, and to Oregon where he created physical therapy programs for post-surgical, arthritic and motor vehicle accident patients.

After six years working as the Attending Chiropractic Physician at an integrated care practice, Devin and his family moved to Austin so he could begin work as an associate provider of the Musculoskeletal Institute. During their first nine months, the Musculoskeletal Institute care team eliminated Travis County’s year-long wait list for orthopaedic care, treating hundreds of patients in the process. Now the team is bringing that same care model to UT Health Austin. “This practice is different, and hopefully patients feel that,” says Devin. “As a team, we’re very invested in our patients. We take it very personally.”
