Biography and Education
Clinical Biography
Denise Johnson, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist in Women’s Health, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin. Additionally, Dr. Johnson is an assistant professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Women’s Health.
Dr. Johnson graduated with honors from Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree in human biology. She earned her medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Johnson has completed several global health projects, including an elective obstetrics and gynecology placement at the Princess Marina Hospital in Botswana, located in Southern Africa. She also has a special interest in patient safety and quality improvement.
Dr. Johnson is an obstetrician-gynecologist with UT Health Austin.
