Clinical Biography

Daniel Stromberg, MD, is a UT Health Austin pediatric cardiologist practicing at Dell Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Stromberg received his undergraduate degree in molecular biology at Princeton University graduating Magna Cum Laude. He went on to complete his medical degree, internship and residency in pediatrics at University of California, San Francisco. Following residency Dr. Stromberg completed fellowships in pediatric cardiology at Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine; Pediatric Cardiac Transplant at Texas Children’s Hospital and Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care at Texas Children’s Hospital. He is a member of the Society of Pediatric Research, Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Heart Association and American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Stromberg’s research interests include pediatric cardiac critical care and general critical care, publishing numerous articles and giving presentations throughout the US and Europe. Prior to joining UT Health Austin Dr. Stromberg cared for children at Le Bonheur Children’s hospital in Memphis, TN and has been in practice for over 20 years.
