Clinical Biography
Ashley Nguyen, LMSW, is a licensed master social worker in UT Health Austin’s Musculoskeletal Institute. She is also a part of UT Health Austin’s Health Social Work care team. She specializes in evidence-based practice and takes a holistic approach to care by integrating motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, case management, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Ashley Nguyen earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Houston-Downtown and her master’s degree in social work from The University of Texas at Austin. She completed an internship in clinical social work at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Ashley Nguyen has extensive experience working with various populations and age groups, each navigating unique life challenges. She is passionate about creating a positive impact, using her expertise to empower individuals and provide the support they need to overcome obstacles and thrive.
