This place is Amazing ! I truly can not say enough positive things about this facility and it’s staff. When I came here my quality of life was absolutely in the trash. Going to them for my GERD treatment was the best decision I’ve ever made regarding my health . UT Health Austin got my quality of life back . Literally from terrible to Amazing ! I went from crying almost everyday from frustration and pain , to crying tears of joy for how good I feel and how grateful I am for Doctor Buckley and his staff . Everything they did from diagnostics to pre Op to post Op was all top notch . If you’re suffering from heartburn or GERD. You don’t have to suffer anymore. Give these guys a call .

Dear Dr. Buckley,

Thank you so very much for being such a kind doctor and for being so incredibly generous with your time. Dealing with this unexpected health issue has been an intense challenge for me but it would have been so much worse if you and your amazing ream weren’t here for me in my many anxious moments. Your patience has been unparalleled and I - and my loved ones - are so incredibly grateful for everything you’ve done. The best move I made in the past year was choosing to be your patient. Medical schools should teach all doctors to be as incredible as you! All my best and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Dear Dr. Buckley,

Thank you for advocating for me and standing-up for my ability to the LINX device and surgery. I’m really excited to get my LINX today and I hope this will be the start of a new chapter in my life where I feel “normal” and good again! Can’t wait to be pain free! I feel so fortunate to have you as my surgeon. Thank you for all of the hard work you did to become such an excellent doctor.

Best, S.

After a failed surgery in 2017 on my esophagus I have continued to live with food getting stuck and constant inflammation. This past April my health took a turn for the worst when I began throwing up and passing blood from an unknown source…..which was found to be my esophagus….again.

I was hospitalized and eventually had to have iron infusions due to blood loss. A friend in Del Rio who was aware of my situation just happened to overhear a conversation between her friends discussing Dr. Tripp Buckley. That was the stroke of luck that I had been waiting for.

I called the next day and had my previous records sent. He took me in right away and my surgery for Nissen Fundoplication was scheduled for 2 weeks later. I am now 3 weeks out of surgery and I feel better than I have in 3 years. I didn’t think it was possible for me to ever feel this way again, he has given me my life back. My friends and family see it in me as well. I honestly thought I would have to live with the pain in my chest and on my side for the rest of my life. I felt better the day after surgery. I am a little slow to regain my stamina but I am getting better every day. I can not say enough positive things about this surgery and Dr. Tripp Buckley. He is professional, kind, caring, and he really listens.

I highly recommend him to everyone I can in our support groups. He is the Best!

Sincerely - P.

I was recently hospitalized at Dell Seton Medical Center for surgery by Dr. F. “Tripp” Buckley - a kind, empathetic man who explained everything. The entire surgical team came in one-by-one and introduced themselves before the surgery. The nursing staff was attentive, cheerful and helpful. Outstanding! That coupled with the bright, shiny sparkling clean facilities made my brief stay more like that in a grand hotel. I didn’t have to stay very long, but if I ever do, I can’t think of a better place to do it.

Excerpt from Dell Seton 5 Star review on Yelp … My Doctor was Dr. Buckley. The next day after surgery he came and explained everything about my surgery and what he did. All the nurses spoke very highly about him. That says a lot about the Doctor when the staff really like and respect a Doctor. Check out was a breeze. I absolutely recommend Dell Seton. I also highly recommend Dr. Buckley! If you’re like me and ready to end Gerd and acid reflux once and for all, then you should see Dr. Tripp Buckley with UT Health in Austin, TX
