Coronary artery anomalies are the second leading cause of sudden cardiac death in young people who participate in sports. This funding supports a multi-institutional study that will focus on engaging patients with coronary artery anomalies and their families.

In 2017, when Rebecca was 29 years old, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, which flipped life as she knew it upside down. Her experiences—both good and bad—have shaped the person she is today and inspired change within the young adult cancer community.
