William Qubty, M.D., is a neurologist and chief of the Pediatric Headache Program of the UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children’s. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas in Houston. He completed a combined residency in Pediatrics and Child and Adolescent Neurology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Qubty has completed a headache fellowship through the University of California San Francisco and is board certified in pediatric and adult headache medicine. He is one of the few fellowship trained, pediatric headache specialists in the country.
Dr. Qubty is board certified in neurology with special qualifications in child neurology. He is actively involved in pediatric migraine clinical trials. His particular interests include finding new and safe migraine treatments for children and adolescents. He has a range of peer-reviewed publications and book chapters relating to headache medicine and child neurology. Dr. Qubty’s professional affiliations include the American Academy of Neurology and American Headache Society.
