Tammy Noel is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in the Musculoskeletal Institute at UT Health Austin. She has over 15 years’ experience in Orthopedics; providing compassionate care and educating patients, and their families, regarding their orthopedic conditions and treatment options. She started her professional medical training as an undergraduate student at Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada, where she earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree. After graduation she moved to the United States and has been in Austin since 1999.
Tammy completed her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner at South University in Round Rock where she distinguished herself as a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Austin Advanced Practice Nurses, American Association of Perioperative Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau. She is presently continuing her education and training as a Registered Nurse First Assist in surgery through the National Institute of First Assisting.
Tammy is very excited to be a part of UT Health Austin’s multidisciplinary team approach to patient care and hopes to contribute to making healthcare better for the community. “I see this as a new and exciting, not to mention innovative, approach to caring for people, considering all the factors that make a person well.”
