Biography and Education
Mia Roldan MSSW, LCSW, LCDC, is a licensed clinical social worker in UT Health Austin Pediatric Psychiatry at Dell Children’s. She is also a part of UT Health Austin’s Integrated Behavioral Health team. She specializes in reproductive and endocrine medicine.
Mia Roldan earned her master’s in social work from The University of Texas at Austin and her bachelor’s in political science from The University of California at Berkeley. She also earned her Elementary and ESL Teaching Certificate from Dominican University of California and currently holds a K-12 Special Education Teaching Certificate.
Mia Roldan’s clinical focus involves individual, family, and group psychotherapy for patients with eating disorders and gender diverse patients. She co-authored the book “Voices of Strength: Sons and Daughters of Suicide Speak Out” and regularly engages in educational and training activities with The University of Texas at Austin social work students and the Dell Medical students and residents.
