Biography and Education
Meghan Whitmarsh-Brown, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon and fellow in UT Health Austin’s Musculoskeletal Institute. She specializes in adult hip and knee reconstruction.
Dr. Whitmarsh-Brown earned her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. She completed an internship and residency at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center and Keck Hospital of the University of Southern California.
Dr. Whitmarsh-Brown is the Joseph M. Abell Arthroplasty and Value-Based Health Care Delivery Fellow at the Musculoskeletal Institute for the 2021-2022 academic year, where she will promote the delivery of high-quality clinical care in lower extremity arthroplasty and contribute to further optimization of musculoskeletal healthcare delivery through research and collaboration. She is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopeadic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Western Orthopaedic Association, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
