Dr. Kobina Ghartey is a practicing maternal fetal medicine specialist. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College where he also completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed his fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Ghartey is experienced in prenatal diagnosis, management of complex maternal and fetal disorders, and is helping to expand the maternal fetal medicine practice at Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas at Austin. As a maternal fetal medicine specialist, Dr. Ghartey guides, educates, and provides comfort to his patients during the challenges that pregnancy can present. His clinical interests include prenatal diagnosis, maternal diabetes, multiple gestation, and intrauterine growth restriction. He is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, International Society in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine.
