Clinical Biography
Jessica Batten, PA-C, CAQ-Psych, is a physician assistant in the Bipolar Disorder Center within the Mulva Clinic for the Neurosciences at UT Health Austin. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of bipolar disorder and tailors her treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs.
Jessica Batten earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a master’s degree in medical science from Arcadia University.
Jessica Batten is the recipient of Arcadia University’s Program Director’s Award and her clinic’s Sunshine Award for leadership and exceptional patient care. Prior to her work at the Bipolar Disorder Center, she practiced internal medicine, geriatrics, and general outpatient psychiatry for several years. She aims to empower her patients through education, and emphasizes the role of lifestyle in total wellness.
