Clinical Biography

Eric Schute, MD is a licensed child and adolescent psychiatrist in UT Health Austin Pediatric Psychiatry at Dell Children’s specializing in the treatment of Behavioral Health. He received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of North Texas. He completed his medical degree at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr. Schute then completed his internship and residency in Pediatrics at UT Southwestern, and his fellowship in Adult and Child Psychiatry at University of Pennsylvania/Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and American Psychiatric Association. He is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, American Academy of Pediatrics, Texas Medical Association and American Medical Association.
