Clinical Biography

Christina Philburn is a licensed social worker in the Pain Management Center at UT Health Austin. Ms. Philburn received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Saint Peters College and her Master of Social Work from Fordham University. Christina has served the psychosocial needs of patients of all ages from young children and families to her most recent work with adults and geriatric patients at Mount Sinai Hospital’s Emergency Department. She has conducted psychotherapy sessions, group classes, conducted assessments across a broad range of needs from general mental health and wellness to more critical needs for chronically mentally ill patients and those with emergent needs. Her skills extend to providing professional, compassionate social work interventions for patients and their families.
