About This Clinic
UT Health Austin’s Complex Gynecology and Contraception Clinic diagnoses, treats, and manages complex gynecologic and contraception concerns in patients (13 years and older). From prevention to diagnosis and treatment, we work with you to develop a comprehensive care plan that aligns with your treatment goals. Our team of gynecologists and advanced practice providers has specific expertise in the physical and emotional complexity of your reproductive system—from adolescence to midlife to menopause and beyond. If you have medical factors that may complicate your contraception options, we also provide alternative methods of contraception, including, but not limited to, long-acting, reversible contraception and sterilization.
At UT Health Austin, we take a multidisciplinary approach to your care. This means you will benefit from the expertise of multiple specialists across a variety of disciplines caring for you in one place to avoid having to schedule multiple appointments with providers at locations all over the city. The Complex Gynecology and Contraception Clinic care team includes women’s health specialists, obstetrician-gynecologists, urogynecologists, dermatologists, gynecologists, pelvic floor physical therapists, dietitians, social workers, and more, who work together to help you get back to the things in your life that matter most to you.
We collaborate with our colleagues at The University of Texas at Austin and the Dell Medical School to utilize the latest research, diagnostic, and treatment techniques, allowing us to provide you with a state-of-the-art treatment plan.
