Back and Neck Pain Center
The Back and Neck Pain Center at UT Health Austin offers a team-based approach to coordinate care around your specific needs. This team-based approach always includes you - the patient - at the center of your care. Our team of physicians, physical rehabilitation providers, behavioral therapy specialists, and dietitians are committed to clear, timely communication with you and your referring doctor about your treatment and progress.
Patient-centered and efficient care
The Back and Neck Pain Center team looks at your pain, and how it interferes with your life, so that we can get you back to doing what you want to do. Having input from a variety of disciplines allows you to get the care you need, with the providers you need, all in one location, and at the same visit.
If imaging or laboratory is needed, this is also available on site, saving you valuable time.
Pain can be a complex and personal experience and addressing it effectively requires a treatment plan that understands each patient’s goals and respects her/his preferences. In some cases, the treatment may be as simple as education – understanding the diagnosis. In others, it may be exercises done at home or under the supervision of a therapist; and, in others, it may involve medications, injections, or even surgery. The goal of this process is to arrive at a treatment approach that is uniquely right for you.
Whether your goal is to return to playing golf, walk your dog, or simply do your normal activities with less pain, our goal is to help you achieve it. What matters to you matters to us.
